In the Arena

Idén och inspirationen fick jag när jag läste tidningen Tattoo Life, nr 54 år 2011. På framsidan och i tidningen är tjejen Grace Stanley (musiker). Hon i sin tur har en tatuering där det står ”In the Arena”. Hon beskriver själv tatueringen så här:

"'In The Arena' comes from the Theodore Roosevelt quote 'The man in the arena', which basically says that the opinions of the people who criticize and observe from the sidelines are meaningless, and that all the credit is due to the man who is actually in the arena, trying, failing, getting up again and fighting for what they belive in. It's principle that I try to apply to my life every day."
